2. Mamoni Flooded Trip during the Dry Season - Feb 17, 2008

It certainly took us by surprise. This is the fourth time in 10 yrs that
we had to hike out and the first one that occurred during the dry season.
We were paddling duckies !
After finishing lunch by the river we were ready to go for the second leg of the journey,
but noticed the water level was going up quickly and instead of going toward the
river we went almost running, taking everything we could, up nearby hills.
When we turned back to see the river it just wasn´t the same. Now it had
about twice as much water, it was muddy and wild. Quite
amazing ! |

1. Red Bull Team Building Event, March

Around hundred persons of the Red Bull Organization from
its staff in America gathered in central Panamá for a Team Building dynamic.
They were organized in 10 groups of 10 persons and asked
to complete certain tasks around Panama City. These tasks included
rappeling down a 100 ft height rock wall at "Parque Los
Guayacanes" in Bethania, hiking trails at Parque Soberania, diving at
Gamboa, selling Red Bull drinks in the street, etc., etc.
In a Panama Amazing Race set up they were able to
achieve its objective: work as a team in a competitive and unexpected
enviroment.
Aventuras Panama was contacted by our colleague in Costa
Rica, Juan Amiguetti from Aguas Bravas, to assist him on prospecting
sites and set up and operate 10 rappel lines.

2. Expedition Kayaks trips at Coastway,
Amador, Feb 23, 2008
By the end of March 2008 Aventuras Panamá will start
offering this spectacular and nearby 2 hours guided trip.
The circuit: departing from La Playita Ramp, passing
Flamingo Island, go around San José Rock, and them back to origin. We
won´t paddle in Panama Canal defined navigation channel.
The fun: great sceneries and a good work out paddling
the best sit-inside poliethilene kayaks from Necky and Perception.
