1. Some Guests Feedbacks on San Blas
Sea Kayaking Trip

We all had a great time on our trip with Aventuras Panama.
The paddling and snorkeling were enjoyed by all. The crew you sent with us
treated us well and did a great job with the cooking and all the chores. We
are not use to being pampered so well. Our daughter Alena learned how to roll
a kayak and we are all very pleased.
The fruit selection was good and we consumed great
quantities. Our group would like to have had a few more desserts and some
more candy or granola bars to boost our energy while paddling.
We will certainly recommend Aventuras Panama. I will be
send you some pictures via AOL. Open them as a guest. Thanks for sharing
your photo's with us.

1. Major rivers targeted for
Hidropower Projects
The price of progress ! All our main commercial
rafting rivers such as Chiriqui Viejo, Mamoni, and Grande are targeted for
hidropower projects.
All that we know might soon be underwater and It is very
unlikely that we could do anything to stop it. Panama needs energy to
power its unprecedent grow and there are big interests behind these projects.
So, paddle hard, paddle now, before it is too late !

About Salto de Las Palmas, Veraguas, Panamá

Hello, I congratulate you for sharing
destinations with everyone that enjoy to practice safe exteme
sports in the outdoors.
I wish to share(in case you do not know it by
now)
an excelent place to rappel in our Veraguas Province.
It is "El Salto de Las Palmas", a
spectacular 60 meter or higher water fall.

Aventuras Panamá Friends:
I saw the coverage published by La Prensa at its
El Weekend issued of March 27, 2008
about the rappel activity at Parque Los Guayacanes.
I am inviting you to visit "El Salto de Las
Palmas" in Veraguas to check out by yourself how beautiful it is and
to do some rappel on it..
I am sending you pictures of "El Salto de Las Palmas" where a
local group alreary rappeled on it.
From Panamá to Las Palmas it is around 4 hours drive. You can camp on
it or rent rooms at very good prices. Horses are also available
for rent and the town is worth visiting.
Well, I leave you with this pictures for you to
enjoy and sincerely hope that you visit to experience an incredible
adventure.
If you do come, let me know. You can count
on me for local support.
Those that did rappeled on it that day went down
at the water fall´s side and also on it.
